Applications
Concerning fully automated bike parkings Fotolight has applied signposting so cyclists can find their way without problems. Specially designed floor graphics e.g. with pictograms that show one is not allowed to simply put their bike anywhere they want. Moreover, Fotolight engineered a so called “Bike Information Carousel” with click frames and a motion sensor in order to inform passengers in the best possible way.
Within the bike parks it is continuously researched if one can park more efficiently by signalising in advance how many parking places are free and to optimally place signs in the direction of important places in the parks which are continuously growing bigger.
