Printing
Fotolight is very flexible because of the presence of a 2×3 meter flatbed printer. It enables us to directly print onto materials such as synthetic materials, metal and wood. Not only flat panels but also pre milled materials can be printed after which the product will be bended thus creating different kinds of displays and housings. Next to the flatbed printer Fotolight uses several roller printers and has to possibility of creating printed fabrics and cloths with rubber strips that fit into standardized aluminium profiles.
Silkscreen
The silkscreen department is a great example of the artisan way of producing that Fotolight has developed along the way. The semi-automatic machines are still in use, creating the greatest full colours onto materials which still cannot be printed. Examples are chalk boards, silver metallic, gold etc. Thermoforming is an additional possibility within this process. The experience of projects with both techniques enables us to create high worthy products.
Lettering
Real durable colours can also be reached by using vinyl decoration. Next to pre-spaced logos, one can also think of privacy foil, sun protection foil or floor graphics for high intensity. When lower quantities are desired this technique is often used. Next to silkscreening, this technique is one of the most used and most durable we know.
