Wayfinding in railway environment is of the utmost importance. On arrival at this place one must perfectly be guided to the next means of transportation or other utilities. Not only wayfinding to trains but also buses, the underground, trams and regional public transport are of importance. Combined with all other utilities at the train station makes this a complex challenge having all the right information on the right position.
“Fotolight supplies wayfinding on all locations in and around the railway station. Having all technical skills concentrated at our plant, balance is perfect and the communication lines are short.”
Applications
The recognisable signalisation of the railway station is illuminated but also non-illuminated and temporary stickered panels are produced. Façade signing at the entrance is the first eyecatcher. Prescribed “vandalism-proof” light boxes are then installed throughout all platforms and halls. Next to standardised wayfinding, Fotolight also produces banners, stickers and temporary wayfinding panels because railway stations are continuously changing and thus regularly need fresh signings!
